Our commitment
Doffair is a platform built for pet parents to connect their dogs for supervised, real-world playdates and to access verified vets, groomers, trainers and pet-care professionals. Doffair maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any content, conduct, or use of the platform that endangers, sexualizes, exploits, or otherwise harms children. This applies regardless of whether such content or conduct is found in profiles, in-app chat, images, comments, community posts, or any other feature of the app.
This commitment extends to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and all forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sextortion, trafficking and solicitation, in accordance with applicable laws including India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and international standards followed by Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Who can use Doffair
- Doffair is intended for use by adults aged 18 and older who are pet parents or pet-industry professionals (vets, groomers, trainers, boarding operators).
- Doffair is not directed at, marketed to, or designed for children. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account.
- Pet profiles (breed, temperament, vaccination status, etc.) belong to the animal, not a minor and are created and managed by an adult account holder.
- If we become aware that an account has been created or is being used by a person under 18, we will suspend or terminate that account.
Zero tolerance: prohibited content and conduct
Users may never use Doffair, in any form, to:
- Upload, share, request, or link to CSAM or any sexualized content involving minors, in any medium.
- Groom, solicit, or attempt to make contact with a minor for any exploitative or inappropriate purpose.
- Use pet playdates, meet-ups, or in-app chat as a pretext to contact, locate, or gain access to a minor.
- Impersonate a minor, or misrepresent a minor as an adult, to bypass age requirements.
- Share personally identifying information about a child, or images in which a child is the identifiable subject, without lawful parental/guardian consent.
Any account found engaging in the above will be immediately and permanently banned, all relevant data will be preserved for law enforcement and the matter will be reported as described below.
How we reduce risk
- 18+ eligibility gate at signup and periodic review of accounts flagged as suspicious.
- Verified professional listings - vets, groomers, trainers and boarding partners go through an onboarding verification step before appearing on the platform.
- In-app chat is pet-playdate focused, moderated and subject to our Community Guidelines; chat behavior can be reported with one tap.
- Human and automated content review of uploaded images, profiles and messages for known CSAM hashes and exploitative content.
- Easy in-app reporting - every profile, message and post has a "Report" option available at all times.
How to report a concern
If you encounter content or behavior on Doffair that you believe involves a child, or endangers a child in any way, please report it immediately through one of the following:

We review CSAE reports as our highest priority and act on them without requiring the reporter to create an account, provide justification, or exhaust other reporting steps first.
What happens after a report
- Immediate review by our Trust & Safety team.
- Account action - suspension or permanent ban of the reported account and removal of the associated content, pending and following investigation.
- Preservation of evidence for law enforcement and regulatory cooperation.
- Reporting to authorities, including India's National Crime Records Bureau / local police via the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), consistent with legal obligations.
- We do not notify a reported user that a CSAE report has been filed against them where doing so could compromise an investigation.
Cooperation with law enforcement
Doffair cooperates fully with law enforcement and regulatory authorities investigating CSAE. We will preserve and, where legally required, disclose relevant account and content data pursuant to a valid legal request.
Parents & guardians
Doffair is not designed for use by children and we do not offer parental-consent pathways for underage use. If you believe your child has created an account, please contact us at support@doffair.com and we will remove the account.
Policy updates
We review this page periodically to reflect changes in law, platform features and industry best practice. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Reviewed" date above.
